Excel London International Exhibition Centre | 2023 – 2025 | Venue Chief Operating Officer

C-Suite leadership role, providing strategic level direction for a world class 125,000 m2 flexible venue space and 100-acre site campus in London's Royal Docks.  Annually hosting 400 events & 4 million visitors, attending international trade & consumer exhibitions, global conferences, entertainment & international sporting events, including the Formula E World Championship Finale, and the Immerse London experience attractions. A transformational venue extension creates Europe’s largest integrated conference, exhibition, and venue space in 2025. 

• Executive responsibility leading the Operations Division - Event Management, Venue Operations, Health & Safety, Security & Resilience, Transport & Traffic, Venue Services (Rigging, Power, Cleaning), Guest Experience and Sustainability – 130+ full time employees across these functions, plus contractors and service delivery partners. 

• Executive leadership - policy & governance, HR, Finance, Legal and audit matters, directing business operations with the Chief Financial & Chief Commercial Officers.

• Oversight to integrate other operational delivery areas – Hospitality, Food & Beverage, Digital, Technology.

• C-Suite lead for Resilience Strategy (Crisis Management & Business Continuity).

• Responsibility for the operational readiness and mobilisation of the venue extension development.
