Global competitive Esports entertainment promoter BLAST engaged Hooked On Events to provide specialist support for event planning and delivery for their new Asia host city locations of Hong Kong and Chengdu China.  Drawing upon previous stakeholder relationship & event management experience from staging major events and venue operations in the region, strategic project management was delivered to execute these inaugural events.  The BLAST Premier Rivals Hong Kong event was held at the AsiaWorld Expo Arena for 30,000 fans, followed by the BLAST Dota V Slam tournament hosted at the Wuliangye Chengdu Performing Arts Centre, in collaboration with the Chengdu Television and Media Company.

The best in the world of Esports competed in rock star style live production shows, broadcast worldwide - Esport competition staged in arenas to entertain tens of thousands of energised avid fans. 

Roger Hooker was integrated as Strategic Lead with the BLAST senior management team, during planning and for the in-country execution, to share expertise of successfully steering organisations to deliver these new sporting arena inaugural events with local partners in complex stakeholder environments.
